WE NEED A NEW KENNEL FACILITY! Our current leased location has supported the rescue of hundreds of dogs from their precarious existence in the Corridor to decompress, receive good nutrition and medical care and then find happy times with their ultimate homes. In the last two years, we have realized that the temporary nature of the buildings and makeshift runs will not meet our needs and support our mission anymore.
We have identified a new property with one existing kennel building and have selected a nationally known builder of veterinary hospitals and kennels to construct an additional kennel building so we can properly intake and care for our street rescues. This new facility will provide a safer working environment for our staff, volunteers, potential adopters and the dogs. It will also benefit our operating budget immediately to support the long-term viability of the rescue.
